Clothes. Clothes. Clothes.

Soooooo as many of you know I have this strange obsession with never matching and always buying anything no one else would ever wear...(well anyone that I know ;) ) Its just who I am and you can hate on it all you want! But I have had a lot of people say my strange fashion choices have inspired them to try something new haha soooo I figured I would share a couple pictures of some of my favorite articles of clothing <3

My Favorite Coral Maxi with a simple t-shirt knotted at the bottom

Yes......I DID wear my Grandmas giraffe t-shirt that was 5 times too big for me to school.

This poncho....its life changing. SOOOO comfy!

Now not only does MY fashion rock but I also so kindly spread it to my best friend Brody and bought him this lovely eagle t-shirt for christmas haha and that right there on me is my favorite sweater in the whole world...I love tigers.

And there you have it....that is a VERY SMALL selection of my wardrobe haha, any who I say love who you are and don't let anyone change you! Everyone is special in there own way so let the world see you shine :) 

Luxurious Legs

Who hates shaving their legs? Cause I sure do! I haven't found a solution for the no-more-hair-ever-again look we all wish we could have BUT I did find a solution for the get-the-softest-smoothest-legs-ever! Sadly this isn't my creation, but as we all steal our "wow I am so crafty how did I think of this?!" ideas from, Pinterest has saved my life yet again. 

What do you need?

• 1/2 C of oil
• 3 tbs Citrus juice
• 1 1/4 C sugar 

           *Whenever I use these measurements it makes enough for my arms & legs so make according to your desired proportion :)

Steps:

Mix all your ingredients into a bowl

1. shave legs under warm water
2. Rub the mixture all over your legs/arms/feet/etc.
3. Rinse all of it off  and shave again!
4. Rub the mixture for a second time all over and then rinse
5. Lotion your legs and BAM!  You've got the smoothest legs ever

We all know the Easter bunny, hunting for eggs, and yummy food has been an exciting factor of our lives on this day...but i'd like to take the time to remind you all to remember the true meaning of today. This is the day we celebrate the Resurrection of our dear Savior Jesus Christ, he loves each and every one of us, and I love him. I know he IS real. I love my church and the opportunity I have to be a part of it! HAPPY EASTER, let us all remember the true meaning :)

         

Shoo Fly don't bother me!

Alright, I know we have ALL suffered from those flies that somehow manage to make it into your home and drive you beyond insanity...I am a victim of this terrible situation, so thanks to searching the all beloved http://pinterest.com/ we have found a solution! And it really works!

What is the magic solution to our ever annoying problem?

A plastic zip-lock bag filled with water and a penny! 

Say whhhaaatttt? Yep, all you have to do is hang it outside and you are FLY-FREE! Now I have no idea how, or why in the world this works, but I can tell you I have not seen a SINGLE fly in my house or outside of it since we put these bags up, and that's proof enough for me! Sure this may not be the classiest way of doing things but hey, IT WORKS!

Todays post is on someone who has had a tremendous impact on my life over the last two years. Life has been kinda crazy for me over the last 5 years and I have had some amazing people, friends, and family help get me through it day in and day out, but one person who was placed in my life has had one of the most special impacts...Brody P.. What do I think when I hear that name? I think of one of my BEST friends who has one of the most amazing personalities, someone who is always there for me no matter what, NEVER failes to make me laugh, and has the constant ability to put an ear to ear smile on my face. This kid truly has the light of Christ in him and the sweetest spirit I've seen. I have been so blessed to have someone like Brody placed in my life! I adore him and his family with all my heart and I feel so privileged to be one of Brodys great friends. And an extra bonus girls, he's quite handsome dont you think?! :)

Ok, so i just read this "article" on Yahoo news about "Is Facebook Sexualizing Young Girls?" heres the link: http://shine.yahoo.com/parenting/facebook-sexualizing-young-girls-183300178.html
I think it has a very valid point and that parents etc. should take it into consideration that their children are posting pictures of low shirts, booty shorts, "sexy", innapropriate captions/positions etc. on facebook and a lot of them do it for the attention, and the need to feel "popular" or "attractive." I also think this matter brought up goes a lot deeper then just pictures on FB and video chatting.Todays society is HUMONGOUSLY circled around looks, popularity, and outer beauty in general. Why should a child/teen have to feel the immense pressure that is they dont look good if they arent skinny, if they dont have nice clothes, if they dont post innappropriate-like pictures on facebook etc., that they are worthless, ugly, friendless and so on? It isnt fair for anybody to ever feel their life should be based off of how good they look and what people think about them. Every girl/boy is special and beautiful in their own way, we shouldnt have to always "look good" to have friends. D&C 18:10 "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;."

Ok sooooo its time to tell about somebody amazing......I basically *LoVe* this girl. She is the cutest thing that has ever lived! I love that i cant talk to her about anything, i love that we have classes together and all we ever do is talk about people....boys (good and bad) , big lips, girls who cry, smart people, girls who think boys love them, moody people, teachers, annoying school kids, immature people etc. and only you shelby know who im talkin about ;) Your always dressed so cute and just has the sweetest personality!!! I am sooo so lucky to have you as a friend, and i am so thankful for all you do!!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST FRIEND EVER SHELBY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
